  • How can I restrict my children playing a certain game to no more than 2 hours a day?
    In order to restrict your children to 2 hours a day you should goto 'Program Schedule', then click on 'Daily Time Limits', mark the check box 'Enable Daily Time Limits' and set the appropriate time. After this goto 'Program Schedule', then click on 'Controlled Programs List', and add the program (game) to the list.

  • How can I restrict the time my children use of instant messenger to a certain time? (i.e from 8 to 9 p.m)
    In order to restrict your child’s use of instant messenger to a specific time, goto 'Internet Schedule', click on 'Timetable', mark the check box 'Enable Timetable' and select the respective time period.

  • How can I allow my children to use email client (or any other Internet based program) without any limitations?
    In order to enable email client to have full access to the Internet goto 'Internet Schedule', click on 'Exceptions List', and add your Email client to this list.

  • How can I prevent my children from using the computer as a whole whilst I am at work?
    In order to prevent your children from using the computer as a whole at certain times, goto 'Computer Schedule', click on 'Timetable', mark the check box 'Enable Timetable' and, on the timetable, mark red the time that you want to be restricted.

  • How to prevent my children from installing games or programs when I am not at home?
    In order to prevent your children from installing games or programs when you are not at home, goto 'CD/DVD Schedule', click on 'Timetable', mark the check box 'Enable Timetable' and mark red on the timetable the period of time that you are not at home and want the use of CD/DVD disks to be restricted. Then goto 'Removable Disks Schedule', click on 'Timetable', mark the check box 'Enable Timetable' and mark red on the timetable for the period of time that you are not at home and want the use of removable disks to be restricted.

  • How can I prevent my children from changing my Chronager settings?
    In order to prevent your children from changing your Chronager settings, goto 'Chronager Settings', click on 'Set Password', then set your personal administrator password. Next time when the Chronager control panel is opened this password will be required to gain access.

  • How can I save my settings if I need to re-install Chronager? (i.e. to a newer version)
    In order to save your settings if you need to re-install Chronager, goto 'Chronager Settings', click on 'Export & Import', then click on 'Export' to save your settings in a file. After re-installing Chronager, you can import all of your settings by clicking on 'Import' (on the same screen), and selecting the file you previously saved.

  • How can I prevent my young child from using the Internet whilst allowing access to my older child?
    In order to prevent your young child from using the Internet whilst allowing access to your older child, goto 'Chronager Settings', click on 'Computer Users', and make sure that your children are located in different groups. If not, create a new group by clicking on 'New Group' and move one of the children into that group. Next, goto 'Internet Schedule', click on 'Timetable', select the appropriate group in the 'Group' box, and set the restrictions on the timetable that apply to that group.
